Life Education - Inside the Human Body

The last two weeks we have been learning about our body with

Harold the Giraffe.

We learnt:

- 656 muscles in the human body

- The eyelids are the fastest muscle

- The tongue is the most flexible muscles that helps us to digest food.

- Our bottom is called Gluteus Maximus

- The heart is the strongest muscles

- The lungs wrap over our heart.

- We learnt where our internal organs are found in the body

- When we exercise we stretch out our muscles!  Oxygen and nutrients are used to energise our muscles to move and as a result we create carbon dioxide and waste which needs to leave our body.

I liked the way you guys put a lot of information on your blog post and gave facts about body parts.

This reminded me of when Harold came to our school and was explaining about body parts as well.

In the photo when you all held your hands up, I was wondering what was the question that was asked?
